BioPinocytosis: Uptake of fluid filled vesicles into cells (endocytosis). Macro pinocytosis and micro pinocytosis are distinct processes, the latter being energy independent and involving the formation of receptor ligand clusters on the outside of the plasma membrane and clathrin on the cytoplasmic face.
